Surflie

Surflie is a personal project from a group of friends, researchers at UCSB who enjoy
going out surfing. We built it to share with the community the amazing open work that many groups
put out there, whether from Europe, like ECMWF WAM and MFWAM, or from home
here in the US, with the incredible work of NOAA and CDIP at Scripps. We
are also working on our own fun project, Salix, a nearshore model that carries
offshore swell to each spot.
Surflie is very much a work in progress (California only, for now), so we'd love to
get your feedback at support@surflie.app. We
build it in our free time and with our own resources, but we'll do our best to listen
and to keep it free for everyone for as long as we can paddle.
We bring many forecast views together in one place, but we don't
want you to miss a single swell, so check established services too, such as
Surf-forecast.com, Surfline, Windy and many others, and compare. They do great work. However, as they say,
forecasts are just forecasts. They don't lie, they just do
their best, so you won't know until you go.
